The Seacourt Ave Residence is a renovation and addition that showcases exceptional craftsmanship and engineering innovation. The existing home was comprehensively transformed, including the construction of a bespoke cinema beneath the original dwelling — an intricate structural achievement that redefined the home’s spatial potential. Framing the dramatic coastal setting, an off-form concrete pool and spa cantilever towards the escarpment, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding Awabakal Nature Reserve and the Tasman Sea. The result is a timeless contemporary residence that celebrates its remarkable landscape through carefully considered design, materiality and execution.
